Thousands of islands can be found in the Caribbean Sea, starting at The Bahamas and working south toward Trinidad and Tobago. The Caribbean is split into roughly five regions, beginning with The Bahamas, just south-west of Miami. Further south you will find the Leeward Islands, the Windward Islands and finally the Greater and Lesser Antilles.

Each region boasts its own unique culture and each island within has a soul and flavour all its own. Many of the islands have a rich colonial history, having been occupied by French, British, Dutch or other European powers. Though many islands now are governed on their own accords, the history refines each locale.

There is no real rainy season. Showers tend to be in short bursts with blue skies to follow.
