Axum
Having been populated since 400BC, Axum is interestingly the seventh oldest continuously inhabited city in Northern Africa. A city this old has a whole lot of history and culture to explore, and Axum certainly has that.
Take a visit to King Bazen’s Tomb, explore the architecture of the Old Church of St Mary Zion, and observe the grandeur of the 4th Century Obelisk of Axum.

To avoid the heavy downpours, the best times to visit Axum are the months of October through to March, where the rain is minimal and the temperatures are perfect for enjoying the outside. Read More
