Colina Verde is located on top of a remote dune on the peninsula of Machangulo, south Mozambique. The 120 meter high dune includes the costal dune forest, mangrove and inland freshwater lakes. The villa is in an area of outstanding beauty with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean.
There are 7 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each bedroom is beautifully designed with ultimate luxury in mind and views from every bedroom window are breathtaking.
The communal living areas are perfectly equipped to accommodate groups of friends and family,
offering comfortable spaces to unwind, relax and entertain.
To the exterior, there is a large infinity swimming pool and hot tub where guests can sit, relax and enjoy the unspoilt scenery.
Activities at the property include snorkelling, tennis, sand boarding and there are organised tours available of the Maputo Special Reserve which is home to a variety of species of birds and mammals including zebra, wildebeest, antelope, giraffe and elephants. There’s also the opportunity to book fishing trips and whale watching excursions.

The stunning Machangulo peninsula is an unspoilt African wilderness located in the Southern most part of Mozambique, which is adjacent to Inhaca and Portuguese Islands in the Bay of Maputo. It has a land area of thousands of hectares and has over 20 kilometres of sandy beaches on the warm Indian Ocean.
Within the peninsula there are twelve extensive lakes and a huge territory of indigenous natural bush. The coastline falls within a marine reserve protecting vanishing turtles and is bordered by the bay on the Western side, the wildness of the Indian Ocean on the East and a safari game reserve to the South. The estate’s exclusive and private landing strip is only a 20 minute flight from the capital of Mozambique, Maputo.

Meet & Greet, local concierge, all meals, local drinks, daily maid service and mid-week linen change.
Activities (per person) are one group excursion by car to Maputo Special Reserve and one group excursion by boat for snorkelling at Inhaca Island per week. Equipment is provided for these activities.
On site activities at Colina Verde are included in the rate. These activities include: use of the tennis court (with ball machine); 15 meter year round heated swimming pool; two hot tubs; pool table and use of the fitness facilities (Technogym elliptical trainer and Technogym exercise bike), use of fat bikes and guided kayak excursions.
