Hakuba Valley

Deep in the heart of Honshu lies a super-snowy valley in the Japanese Alps. The ten separate mountains that line Hakuba are stunningly beautiful, with mighty and rugged towering peaks over 3,000 m high. One lift pass allows access to all peaks and a convenient shuttle bus service connects Hakuba Valley's resorts, allowing you to move from one piste to another without even removing your ski boots.

Hakuba Valley is great for skiers of all levels; there are family friendly locations which are great for beginners and intermediates whilst the advanced crowd can hike up to the backcountry, where the alpine terrain presents more of a challenge.

For those ‘in-the-know’ this is where you’ll find Japan’s best skiing.
